CEREC uses different materials to enhance their durability and make them stronger than your natural teeth.

How Do CEREC Work?

CEREC technology combines computer-aided design and manufacturing to streamline the process of getting a crown. Here’s what to expect during your appointment:

  1. Digital Impressions: Using an intraoral scanner, we capture a 3D image of your tooth, eliminating the need for traditional messy molds.
  2. Crown Design: With the images sent to the computer, our dentist uses CAD software to design a custom crown that fits your unique dental structure.
  3. Milling the Crown: The design is sent to an in-office milling machine, which shapes the crown from a block of high-quality ceramic.
  4. Placement and Bonding: Once complete, your dentist will check the fit and bond the crown securely to your tooth for a flawless finish.
