“Very friendly and all around quality, professional staff!”
~ Mike B.
In dental school, we learned to give injections – first on oranges, then relatives, and then real people. Major lesson they taught us: “Injections – Yeah it hurts – so what”. Well I didn’t like that lesson and I knew it could be different so I sought to make it so…. This main lesson has defined my practice of dentistry. Dentistry has come a long way and I have evolved our practice in Denton into one that uses advanced dental technics and a relaxing homestyle atmosphere along with a team that truly cares about people. We use several different types of lasers so patients have fewer shots if any. It is a different way of doing dentistry and our patients love it. Sometimes you still need to have an injection but my patients will all tell you – “I’m pretty good at them”. Happy, healthy patients being cared for so they may achieve maximum dental and physical health for a lifetime. That is our goal for you.
Dr. Patrick R Ruehle
Dr. Pat Ruehle grew up in Duncanville, attended Texas A&M on a pole vaulting scholarship and graduated Cum Laude in 1979 with a Bachelors in Biology. He then went to Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas and graduated in 1983. He went into practice with his childhood dentist, Dr. Rodney Teague, and assumed the practice 3 years later when he retired. He enjoyed 16 years in Duncanville before he and his wife, Pam, and 3 kids moved to the Denton area in 1999 for better schools.
While practicing dentistry Dr. Ruehle has attended hundreds of hours of continuing education, covering all aspects of dentistry. He has earned his Fellowships in Oral Implantology from the Misch Institute, and both Fellowship and Masterships in Laser Dentistry from the WCLI. He currently teaches other dentists Laser Dentistry, in addition to being a Mentor for CerecDoctors at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry.
On a personal note, his children are all grown and are living in Houston, Denton and the San Antonio area. He has three awesome grand babies – twins, and if he is not teaching, he and Pam are playing with babies on the weekend.
Dr. Bryan T. Moore
Dr. Moore focuses his practice on wisdom teeth extractions for our patients here in Denton so that they do not need to go off to another office they are not familiar with. He will also work with Dr. Ruehle when patients are having multiple teeth extracted to progress on to implants that can give them a healthier and firmer foundation by which to speak and eat.
A Dallas native, Dr. Moore received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas at Austin and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. He then continued his training with an additional year in a general practice residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. During his residency he received advanced training in dental and implant surgery, as well as sedation procedures.
Since Dr. Moore’s return to Dallas, he has focused much of his attention on expanding the scope of procedures offered to patients in the general dental practice. His practice enables patients to receive safe and caring surgical treatment, with predictable surgical techniques, in a comfortable and familiar setting.
Dr. Moore’s Mission
“My mission is to provide skillful surgical services, to the absolute highest professional standards in an environment that is convenient, comfortable, and familiar to each patient.”

I am new to the Denton area from Leander, TX near Austin. Growing up, my mom had me in the dental office every 6 months for my exams and cleanings, so I’ve always had an appreciation for the importance of good oral health. I look forward to furthering my education as well as building relationships with our patients. I believe you are never really dressed without a smile, so I am blessed to be in a position in which I can help provide so much joy.
