Dr. Patrick Ruehle

Patrick Ruehle, DDS, PA, is a skilled dentist with a wealth of experience at Garden Oaks Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in Denton, Texas. The practice proudly serves the general family and cosmetic dental needs of Texans and their families in Denton, Corinth, Argyle, Robson Ranch, Bartonville, Lake Dallas, Shady Shores, Highland Village, and Lantana, Texas.
As a Duncanville, Texas, native, Dr. Ruehle attended Texas A&M on a scholarship to pursue a degree in biology. In 1979, he graduated cum laude with his bachelor’s degree before attending Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas for his doctorate in dentistry. After graduating in 1983, he continued to explore new disciplines in the field with fellowships in oral implantology at the Misch Implant Institute and a fellowship and mastership in laser dentistry from the World Clinical Laser Institute. He also received his fellowship with the American Academy of General Dentistry.
After finishing his education, Dr. Ruehle began private practice dentistry alongside his childhood dentist, Dr. Rodney Teague, in Duncanville, Texas. Dr. Ruehle took over the practice when Dr. Teague retired three years later and moved to Denton, Texas, in 1999 to pursue better schools for his kids. Dr. Ruehle and the team have been in the Denton, Texas, area for 20 years now – time flies when you are having fun.
Today, Dr. Ruehle teaches other dentists about laser dentistry as an official instructor for the BIOLASE laser and is a visiting faculty member for CEREC doctors at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry.
Dr. Erika Eide
DDS
Erika Eide DDS has rejoined the practice, after her leave of absence having her second baby, and is excited about partnering with Dr. Ruehle and the rest of the Garden Oaks team. She strives to provide personalized, high-quality dentistry in a relaxing environment. She is compassionate, detail-oriented and prioritizes her patients’ time.
Dr. Eide was born and raised in Texas. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in 2011 and graduated Cum Laude while making the Dean’s list. She then attended Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Eide is an advocate for continuing education to stay current with the latest techniques and treatments. She is an active member of several organizations including, the Academy of General Dentistry, Biomimetic Advanced Adhesive Restorative Dentistry and International Association of Orthodontics. She has volunteered on several mission trips including Operation Lone Star & East Texas, Texas Mission of Mercy and overseas in Jamaica.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and their two kids, Dylan and Elizabeth. Dr. Eide is eager to move closer to the practice and set down roots in our community.

Erika joined our team in 2019. She assisted Dr. Ruehle chair side for years and has recently taken on a new challenge as Hygiene Coordinator at the front desk. Erika is a wiz at scheduling and will find a convenient time for you to come in for your cleaning. She frequently still assists Dr. Ruehle in the back when she is needed. She goes above and beyond to provide efficient, friendly service to our patients.
Erika and her husband have an adorable little girl named Zoey and many fur babies. Erika enjoys crafting when she can find some free time, usually in the wee hours in the night when her daughter is sleeping.

Kaitlyn always has a smile to go along with her outgoing personality. She has worked with Dr. Ruehle since 2020. She is an excellent dental assistant and frequently helps up front as well. Kaitlyn has one feisty little boy, Jaxon, who keeps her laughing and on her toes. She enjoys spending time with family and reading.

Mandi is a ray of sunshine wherever she goes. She puts patients at ease with her beautiful smile and charming personality. Mandi has been in the dental field since 2006, and chose dentistry because she always liked going to the dentist growing up. Knowing that some patients have not always had great experiences in the past, she makes it her daily goal to ensure each patient is comfortable and their appointment runs as smoothly as possible.
Mandi is married and has two beautiful little girls and expecting another baby in April. Mandi enjoys spending time with her family and hopes to have time in the future to find some hobbies she enjoys.

Erin is a native Krum girl. She graduated as the valedictorian of her high school and Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Woman’s University. Don’t let her high intelligence fool you though, she will keep you well entertained and laughing with her goofy personality! She goes out of her way to provide the best care possible for her patients. Erin has been taking care of and entertaining our patients since 2014 and we are so lucky to have her.
In her spare time she enjoys working in the yard, building outdoor furniture and spending time with her family.

Kindra joined out team in 2021 and is much loved by patients for her gentle touch and spirit. Her desire to help others drew Kindra into dentistry. She graduated first in her class from Florida State College of Jacksonville. Kindra grew up in Florida and moved to Texas in 2017 with her husband and daughter. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and also enjoys cooking, baking, and entertaining.

Beth has been a dental hygienist for 30 years, 15 of those with Dr. Ruehle. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science degree. She has returned from retirement to be the business manager for the office. She takes care of accounts payable, payroll, and many behind the scenes projects. She enjoys jumping in to help the administrative staff when needed allowing her to reconnect with long-time patients as well as meeting new ones.
